Life of Agnelli Aboard The Agneta
Take a special look into Gianni and Mirella Agnelli’s luxurious superyacht.
The Agneta was built in 1948 for the Swedish engineer Oskar Wilberg, a unique inventor who had patented over 600 inventions, including a dozen related specifically to sailing boats. He wished to have a yacht that would maintain its high qualities for as long as possible.
Officially launched in 1951, the Agneta was built by Swedish architect Knud Reimers, who named the yacht after his daughter. Reimers was one of the most important yacht designers of the 20th century.
